Officers of the RVIPF's Marine Unit responded to a report of an unresponsive male drifting on a dinghy between Marina Cay and Great Camanoe shortly after 7am on July 27. He was transported to Dr. D Orlando Hospital, where he was officially pronounced dead.His identity and the circumstances of the incident are currently unknown. Efforts are underway to ascertain his identity. More information will be provided as it becomes available.

The Department of Immigration has reported that twenty Haitian irregular migrants were located in the North Sound area of Virgin Gorda on Tuesday, July 23.  The group of migrants includes twelve males and seven females, three of which are children are currently undergoing intake processes by the Department of Immigration’s Enforcement Unit.
