The motoring public is advised that construction work will commence on the Sophie Bay Road at 8:30am today Tuesday 20th June. Alternative routes are being advised. During this time, motorists traveling from Road Town towards East End are advised to use the Ridge Road, and Motorist who are traveling from Brandywine Bay, Paraquita Bay, Hodge’s Creek, and the East End area are advised to use the Ridge Road to get to the Road Town area.  

It is further strongly advised not to attempt to pass the Sophie Bay area because the Road will be entirely blocked to facilitate the road repair. 

The Road Policing Unit apologizes for any inconvenience that may be caused during this time.

There has been a number of vehicular accidents on the Sophie Bay Hill, especially in the past few months.
