Two Males Charged For Burglary Including Son of Cop
Officers of the Criminal Investigations Department have charged two males for two recent burglaries at Family Support Network and Blossoms Florist.
Howard Hughes, 53, of no fixed place of abode, was charged with Burglary of the Family Support Network. He appeared before the Magistrate’s court and was remanded to His Majesty’s Prison.
Similarly, Glenville Callwood, 28, of Baugher’s Bay, son of Police Officer Callwood ‘aka’ as Super Cop, was charged with Burglary of Blossoms Florist. He was granted bail in the sum of $5,000 to appear at the Magistrate’s Court on October 11, 2023.
Acting Commissioner of Police, St. Clair Amory, commended the Officers, stating, “I am extremely pleased with the swift and decisive action taken by the Criminal Investigations Department in apprehending and charging these suspects. This remarkable display of persistence serves as a powerful reassurance to our community that our law enforcement officers are unwavering in their commitment to combat crime and ensure that offenders are brought to justice.”
