Even After Benefits Of Greedy Bill, Friends Seek Public’s Financial Support For Former Embattled Premier Andrew Fahie
A donation receptacle has been set up inside the One Stop Mall for donations toward former disgraced Premier Andrew Fahie.
Our newsroom has received evidence over the past couple months of the former Premier’s alleged requests for financial support from residents in the Territory, now an official receptacle has been set up.
While in the seat of Premier, Andrew Fahie and his Government passed what was eventually dubbed the ‘Greedy Bill’. The Bill provided for large payouts for HOA Representatives once their tenure was over. The Bill has now been repealed by the new Government, however the provisions in the previous Bill, still stands unless the former Representative writes in to the House of Assembly to forego their payout.
Does Andrew Need The Public’s Assistance:
Andrew Fahie has received his full salary as Premier even after his arrest, up to the end of the 4th House of Assembly.
As outlined in the ‘Greedy Bill’, Andrew Fahie receives his full salary as a sitting Premier for the next four (4) years; some $10,000 per month. Upon the completion of monthly payouts, he will then receive a retirement lump sum of close to one million dollars.
