Poem for the Broken Hearted. So many people deal with heart break and go through emotional warfare alone. We all deserve love not confusion. We all deserve honesty without half- truths. We all deserve peace. We all been lied too and manipulated thinking it is love, but it is not. It's control. People who loves you do not play with your emotions. We need to define and set clear boundaries. Firstly, accept the hurt and then start to Heal. Here is a short poem to express how we all feel.
Betrayal and Healing
I deserve consistency.
I deserve loyalty.
I deserve honesty.
I begged for openness and clarity—not to control, but because I believed we were worth that. Because I was worth that. I showed up with my heart open, asking for the truth, asking for effort. And you gave me lies, silence, and betrayal.
I deserve happiness. I deserve to be loved properly. I deserve to give my heart to someone who will actually care for it—not break it to feed their ego. Because I love deep. And yes, I hurt deep. But I heal better.
You were unable to give me the love I needed, the respect I deserved. And that’s on you. But what you couldn’t give me, I will now give to myself. And one day, someone else—someone worthy—will meet me where I am, with the love I’ve always given so freely.
You may not realize it now, but you will remember me.
You will remember every woman you used, every heart you lied to, every moment you twisted the truth to protect your pride.
You’ll remember the moment you lost the missing part of you, something real.
And when you search for it in other people, you’ll come up empty—because what I gave you doesn’t come around twice.
You do not get to hurt me, half-truth me, lie to me, use me, and just walk away clean.
You will remember me—and the version of you that was only whole because I was in it. You will remember me.
But I’ve taken that piece back now. It’s mine again.
And I am choosing ME.
