Honourable Shereen Flax-Charles has tendered her resignation to the the Virgin Islands Party. 

In a statement to the press this afternoon, the Honourable Member formally tendered her resignation to the Virgin Islands Party. She did not state whether she had joined any other parties or how she would contest the upcoming elections.
