An election is imminent in the Virgin Islands. The House of Assembly was brought to a close on Friday, March 10th, setting the stage for a date to be announced and the election process to proceed. 

With the dissolution of the House of Assembly, qualified persons now have until end of day Tuesday, March 14th to register to be able to cast a vote in the upcoming general elections. 

It is anticipated that the Premier, Dr. Natalio Wheatley, will announcement a date today March 13, 2023. This election is considered one of the most critical in moving the Virgin Islands to a more stable environment, given the last nine months.
