The group of some seventeen (17) persons, all believed to be Romanians, were spotted in the Cox Heath area of West End, Tortola, sometime around 8:00 am on April 19, 2024. 

It is understood that the group was dropped off by a go-fast vessel which sped off before the Police were able to intercept. 

The suspected illegal immigrants are currently in the custody of the Department of Immigration.
