Department Of Immigration Dubbed “Most Improved”
The Department of Immigration has been honored with the prestigious title of 'Most Improved Department' based on statistics from the RATEUS platform according to the latest edition of the Public Service Customer Service Newsletter.
The RATEUS platform, a comprehensive tool for evaluating government service delivery, has recognized the Department of Immigration for its remarkable progress and dedication to enhancing efficiency, transparency, and customer satisfaction.
According to Acting Chief Immigration Officer Mrs. Nadia Demming-Hodge, "This recognition is a testament to the hard work and commitment of the Department of Immigration’s staff when serving our community with excellence. She also added that, "It is encouraging for staff members of the department to know that the efforts to streamline processes, improve customer service, and uphold the highest standards of professionalism have not gone unnoticed. As we continue to work to improve our services, we expect that this level of satisfaction will increase as the community is served more efficiently."
Key factors contributing to the Department of Immigration's recognition as the 'Most Improved Department' include:

In addition, Director of Customer Service, Kedimone Rubaine said, The Department of Immigration’s commitment to improve their delivery of customer service is not only admirable but a reflection of the purpose of the Government’s strategic customer service plan. I encourage the public to continue to rate their service received at the Department to keep these hard-working Officers accountable whilst celebrating their improvement.”
Similarly, Public Service Transformation Manager, Kishann Cupid Braithwaite said that “The improvement shown by this Department is transformation in action. One of the key priorities of Public Service Transformation is enhancing the Public Service through customer service and the commitment shown by officers of the Department of Immigration to improve their level of service is a great example of how the Public Service will continually transform for the better.”
