The Department of Culture hosted the Virgin Islands Built Heritage and the Art of Archaeological Reconstruction workshop on Thursday May 29, 2024. 

The workshop for Technical Drawing senior secondary school students from the Bregado Flax Educational Centre, the Virgin Islands School of Technical Studies and the Elmore Stoutt High School, was held at Cedar International School and St. Philip's Anglican Church Ruins and Heritage Site.

Facilitators for the morning session were Dr. Katherine Smith, Director of Culture, Dr. Allison Flax-Archer, Secretary General for the BVI National Commission for UNESCO. Adjunct Lecturer at H.L. Stoutt Community College, Mr. Linton Toney was responsible for facilitating the afternoon session.
