Speculation has been swirling as to the whereabouts of disgraced former Premier Andrew Fahie. However, documents were filed on Friday by Fahie petitioning the Court to be able to leave the apartment. The filing confirms Fahie is still at his daughters’ apartment in Miami where he was released on bail. 

Fahie’s petition to the court on Friday sought permission to leave the apartment specifically to visit with his Attorney three times a week in preparation for his upcoming trial late in June. According to Fahie’s Attorney, the apartment is not conducive to meetings due to cramp conditions. Other expressed requests filed were to seek to notify his probation officer to seek dental care and not wait for expressed permission, as well as to attend an extensive conference at his Attorney’s office on April 14th. 

The filed request is the first publicly available document since January 2023. Other documents have been filed in the case, however they are restricted/sealed until further notice. 

Andrew Fahie was arrested at the Opa Locka Airport on April 28, 2022. His charges include  drug trafficking, money laundering and racketeering.
