Last night, Saturday April 8th, the Dawn Flax Easter Festiville officially opened to the public under the theme, Rejuvenate and Celebrate Wid We Stress Free For Virgin Gorda Festival 2023. 

Dawn Flax who has been an active part of Virgin Gorda Festival from the tender age of five, was given her praises and accolades. She has been an active part of the festival through troupe entries in the annual parade, and has been an active participant in the  Honourable Ralph O’Neal Hat Parade which happens later today as the 2023 celebrations continue. 

Dawn has been the Head of various pageant  committees and was at the helm of some of the best pageants. She founded the first VG majorette troupe and remains actively involved  in ensuring that young people participate in festival. She also continues to assist the committee even though not a committee member; particularly with food fair as well as committee fundraisers. 

Dawn Flax hails from the Flax family. One of the stalwart tourism families on the island of Virgin Gorda.
