Dr. Stephanie Vanterpool Premieres In Documentary On East Tennessee PBS
Dr. Stephanie Vanterpool, a native of the British Virgin Islands and a visiting pain management consultant at the Bougainvillea Clinic on Tortola, is proud to announce the premiere of the documentary Targeted Pain Treatment – Hope for Patients with Pain, which aired on East Tennessee PBS on January 8, 2025.
Dr. Vanterpool, who also serves as the executive producer of the documentary, is featured in the film alongside patients whose lives have been transformed by targeted pain treatments.
The documentary explores how innovative, patient-centred pain management techniques are changing the lives of individuals suffering from chronic pain.
Through personal patient stories and cutting-edge medical practices, Targeted Pain Treatment highlights the importance of addressing the root causes of pain rather than simply treating the symptoms.
Dr. Vanterpool, who is the medical director of the University Center for Pain Management in Knoxville, Tennessee, and an Associate Professor of Anesthesiology at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine, is thrilled to share this documentary with a wider audience. As a proud BVI native, she hopes the story resonates with those who may benefit from these transformative pain treatments, both locally and globally.
Dr. Stephanie Vanterpool is the daughter of Dr. Hesketh and Jean Vanterpool.
