Police Raid CGB
The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) wishes to inform the public that as part of its ongoing efforts to combat violent crimes in the Territory, officers from various units conducted search operations in Cane Garden Bay during the early hours of Friday, January 24, 2025.
During the search activities, officers recovered two (2) firearms along with several rounds of ammunition. Four (4) individuals were taken into custody and are being questioned in connection with the recovered items.
Acting Commissioner of Police Jacqueline Vanterpool commended the officers involved in the operation for their diligence and commitment.
She stated, "The removal of these firearms from our streets is a significant step in making our communities safer. I commend the officers for their professionalism and dedication in this operation and in all other efforts to reduce violent crime in the Territory."
The RVIPF remains steadfast in its commitment to ensuring the safety and security of all residents and continues to encourage the public to report any suspicious activities.

Our newsroom has been notified of a raid in the Cane Garden Bay Area in the early hours of this morning, Friday, January 24th by the RVIPF.
We understand three (3) persons have been arrested.
The community of Cane Garden Bay has been experiencing an upsurge in gun crime over the past couple weeks. There have been numerous reports of gunfire, robberies and thefts.
We will bring a further update once the RVIPF issued an official statement.
