Guavaberry Stands By Article, While RVIPF Attempts To Discredit Media House To Save Face
The RVIPF released a statement mid afternoon today Monday February 10th, seeking to clarify information released on an alleged altercation between the Acting COP Jacqueline Vanterpool and the Assistant COP Pam Trevillion. In doing so, the RVIPF attempted a play on words and moved to try to discredit media in the Virgin Islands.
Guavaberry Media, a reputable news house in the Virgin Islands, released an article on Monday morning February 10th regarding an alleged altercation between ACP Trevillion and Ag. COP Vanterpool. While the RVIPF attempted to save face in their release, stating that there was no physical assault, Guavaberry is pushing back, stating that no where in our article did we allude to, or mention any physical assault.
Assault meaning: a physical attack OR a strong verbal attack.

GBM Is Sticking By Story
Editor in Chief of Guavaberry Media, Cindy Rosan, has confirmed that she is sticking to the account of an altercation shared with the media house.
“Based on our sources, we will not be removing our earlier story.” Rosan said.
“I am very much disappointed in the actions of the RVIPF and the Ag COP to attempt to discredit GBMedia, and any other media house in the Territory as a matter of fact.” She went on to say.
Rosan further stated that Ag. COP Jacqueline Vanterpool has certainly lost credibility in her eyes based on the way in which she has handled the response to this matter.
