Hodge’s Creek Road Works To Move Forward
As GBMedia first reported, a meeting was held between relevant Government entities and the Chalwell family yesterday, February 25th to discuss the Hodge’s Creek Road Rehabilitation debacle.
The Government is reporting that an amicable solution has been found, and the project can now move forward to completion.
“Today, following a meeting with the Chalwell family, The Ministry of Communications and Works can announce that an amicable solution has been reached regarding the erection of a fence related to the road works in Hodge’s Creek. The agreement will allow for the continuation of the road works project, which will include the rehabilitation of the existing sidewalks and the installation of new drainage systems, enhancing the overall infrastructure of the area.
The Government acknowledges and apologises for any deficiencies in its Departments' approach that may have contributed to the concerns raised by the Chalwell family. The Ministry of Communication and Works recognises the family’s cooperation and understanding in this matter and remains committed to ensuring that all future developments are conducted with open and transparent communication.
The Ministry of Communication and Works will continue to work closely with the Chalwell family and other stakeholders to ensure that the project progresses smoothly and benefits the community as a whole.
