Despite Public Outrage Premier Pushes Ahead With NonStop Concert

Jun 08, 2023 1 Comments

The Premier in a press statement this afternoon announced the relocation of the Non Stop Concert from Brandywine Bay to the Festival Grounds. He cited the change was made to save money, indicating the stage would remain up until the 2023 Emancipation Festival which will be held one month later. The Premier did not confirm if the company responsible for the staging would  be charging a daily or weekly rate to have the stage remain for an entire month. The press was excluded from the update and therefore unable to ask any questions.

The outrage from Residents continues. The general response from the public is that the event be canceled and the money put to better use.

Can’t you expound on this public outrage? In the name of good journalism, can you cite examples of public outrage other than individual gossip or maybe you heard a couple people saying something. That does not constitute public outrage. This “news” site is amateurish and clumsy in its reporting. Most if not all articles are laced with personal bias and unusually opinionated wording. Still waiting for a good professional news site for the BVI.
